Role Guide
AddIn365 Product Designers are responsible for the software UX and design aesthetics for products AddIn365 creates. These products are used by some of the world’s best-known brands (https://www.addin365.com/clients/)
As part of the production team, you’ll be building and maintaining UX artefacts across our entire product range. This will involve working with Microsoft design systems for Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, Azure, and Web ecosystems and the internal AddIn365 product design system. Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and visually appealing features that address our customers' needs. You will use your creativity and eye for design to develop great experiences.
Each of the AddIn365 products is designed in house, using Figma and other design tools. These Figma files are then utilised to allow the engineering team to break down technical design and engineering tasks. These designs are also used by AI Agents as part of the implementation. The Product Designer will have contributed the Figma and supporting documentation to assist the engineers with software construction and task estimations as part of AI-native software development lifecycle.
The Product Designer role is aimed at candidates who can demonstrate:
Product Design
2–3 years commercial product design experience
Experience owning design outcomes rather than only producing UI designs
Experience across web applications and modern SaaS products
Strong understanding of information architecture, interaction design and usability principles
Ability to translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences
Design Systems
Experience building, maintaining and scaling design systems
Experience defining reusable components and patterns
Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design
Experience designing responsive experiences across devices
Engineering Collaboration
Experience working closely with engineering team in AI-native software development lifecycle
Experience participating in agile software delivery
Comfortable discussing design / implementation constraints and trade-offs
Experience creating implementation-ready specifications and designs for engineering team
AI-Native Development Environment
Candidates must have recent practical exposure to:

Incorporate accessibility design principles into processes and flows
Deliver high-quality work requiring only minor adjustments
Adopt incremental design and iterative refinement approach
Deliver designs for AI-first engineering workflows
Test
Set out testing methodologies by :
